Trimble MPS566 Help

Welcome to the Trimble® MPS566 Modular GNSS Heading Receiver Help.

The MPS566 modular GNSS heading receiver is a high accuracy, dual-antenna GNSS heading receiver with advanced connectivity. The MPS566 receiver delivers highly accurate positions and orientation in challenging GNSS conditions, using a wide variety of GNSS correction sources.

This ‘all-in-one’ unit incorporates the latest industry-leading positioning technology from Trimble along with a full suite of modern communications capabilities, in a rugged, compact package that can withstand harsh work environments and be deployed anywhere.

With a modular form factor, the MPS566 receiver is flexible and can be used as an integrated on-board communication receiver, onshore land rover, or a continuously operating reference station. The MPS566 receiver allows the connection of two GNSS antennas for precise heading.

The MPS566 receiver replaces the dual-install Trimble R750 GNSS modular receivers in the Groundworks system and the Trimble MPS865 Marine GNSS Receiver in the Trimble Marine Control (TMC) dredging systems.
