What's New?

Following are the major new features and enhancements in Trimble Perspective:

RELEASE 2026.10

  • MEASUREMENT TOOL: Measurement results can be individually displayed or hidden.

  • EXPORT ANNOTATIONS & PRECISION POINTS: The feature allows you to export detailed information about annotations and precision points into a .csv file. The exported details include Name, Coordinates, Description (if provided), whether it is used for georeferencing, Target height (for precision points, if available), and Image name (if applicable). The exported images are stored in a specific folder.

  • PUBLISH TO TRCPS: The Publish to TRCPS command uploads point cloud data, panoramic images, annotations and precision points from your project to a Trimble Connect project. This publication requires the TRCPS uploader, which includes three MSI packages: Trimble Desktop Utility, Trimble SCS Activities, and Trimble SCS Activities Runner, and is automatically installed with Perspective.

  • FORCE STATION LEVELING: This feature, only applicable to leveled stations, exports scans to structured formats (Gridded E57, PTX, RCP) with the registration frame leveled (Force Station Leveling) setting the Z axis to (0, 0, 1).

  • TID SIGNED IN WITH CORE PERPETUAL LICENSES: While you can use Perspective's core perpetual license without signing in with Trimble Identity, signing in enables you to take advantage of publishing to TRCPS.
