Change Password

Use this screen to change the password for the administrator or an existing user.

Select Security / Change Password.

 

Changing the admin password on the receiver

You can change the password by resetting the receiver to its factory default settings. Press and hold the Power button on the receiver for 15 seconds. See Button and LED operations.

1. Hold down the Power button.

   The display shows a countdown timer.

2. When the display goes blank, continue to hold the Power button.

   The display shows a countdown to clear the almanac and ephemeris.

3. When the counter reaches 0, continue to hold the Power button.

4. The display indicates a countdown to resetting the receiver.

5. When the counter reaches 0, release the Power button.

Changing the admin password using the WinFlash utility

1. Connect to the receiver using the WinFlash utility.

2. Select the Reset to factory default option.

3. Reset the password starting with the username as admin and the password as password.

Changing the password for a user

Username – Enter the existing username for which the password is to be changed.

New Password – Enter the new password for the user.

Verify New Password – Re-enter the new password for the user.
