Trimble RealWorks Release Notes

This section of the Trimble Field Systems Help Portal provides all release notes for the Trimble RealWorks software from version 12.0 onward.

System requirements

  • Operating system: Microsoft® Windows® 11 (64 bit)

    Microsoft® ended Windows® 10 support on October 14, 2025 and is not supported by RealWorks 2026.11 or future versions.

  • Processor: minimum 2.8 GHz or higher

  • RAM: minimum 16 GB (32 GB and higher recommended)

  • Graphics card: OpenGL 3.3 compatible with minimum 1 GB VRAM (6 GB or higher and OpenGL4.4 recommended)

  • 3-button mouse

Upgrade procedure

Install the software from this location: Support and Downloads.

An Internet connection is required during installation and license or subscription verifications.

Software Warranty

This version of Trimble RealWorks is available to:

  • Perpetual license users whose warranty expiration date is January 1, 2026 or later.

    If your perpetual license warranty expires prior to this date and you proceed with the installation, licensed features will not be included.

  • Subscription license users whose subscription is currently active.

If necessary, you can contact your distributor to purchase a warranty extension or renew your subscription. In the RealWorks ribbon, select Support > License to view your warranty or subscription expiration date.
