Detaching the panel attachment cover

The RTS573 and RTS673 total station are delivered with a cover for the T70 attachment. The cover for the T70 attachment is detached from the instrument in the same way as the T70.

CAUTION – Trimble recommends suspending or powering off the controller before removing it from the instrument. Removing the controller when in on mode will not damage the equipment, but files that are being saved or written to when the controller is removed may be damaged or lost.

  1. Push the lock release button on the bottom of the panel attachment cover.

  2. Lift the bottom of the panel attachment cover away from the instrument.

  3. Unhook the top of the panel attachment cover from the top edge of the panel attachment and remove it from the instrument.
