Data Management menu

Use this menu to view and edit points, import and export data or selected design information to an external memory device such as a USB flash drive. An alternative is to use the Trimble WorksManager service for real-time data sharing. The menu also includes export functions for data use in the Trimble Earthworks or AccuGrade grade control systems.

From the Home menu, tap Data Management.

The following commands are available from this menu:

Description

View, create, edit, and delete control, stakeout, and design points in a list format of points in the currently selected work order.Import a comma, tab, or semicolon delimited point file in various formats. For more information, see Importing and exporting point files with style guides.

Export measured data as a CSV custom point file format, DXF file, Record.txt file, or Network measurements for Advanced Measurement module users.

Write the surface data measured in the currently open work order to a new design surface as a .TTM file.

Export a design to use with Trimble Earthworks or GCS900 Grade Control System.

On the Windows operating system, you can export a design to a USB drive. On the Android platform, the design is exported to the path: Internal Storage\TrimbleSync\Siteworks\MC Data.

Stream position output from a GNSS or total station via a COM port. This option requires the Advanced Measurement module and is only available on Windows systems. See Streaming data output.

View the data in the TaskLog of the project to date including tasks performed and their detailed measurement settings.

View a summary of all the grades checked.

Synchronize data with the WorksManager service using the Wireless Data Sync function.

Enter the device credentials to access the Trimble WorksManager services.
