Settings menu

Use this menu to change or view the current settings in the project. This is the menu where you can view the system settings and access multiple project settings such display, eBubble, and the various types of measurement settings.

From the Home menu, tap Settings.

The following commands are available from this menu:

Access the current software version, modules and license information and change the display language.

Change display options for measure mode, the design and the map layers. Change the screen view direction and switch which panels are displayed.

You can also access this menu by tapping on the main map screen.

Calibrate the eBubble and change the tolerance and sensitivity settings. Only available for receivers with an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) such as the SPS986 or R780.

Switch measurement modes between standing, walking, vehicle, static and EZ level.

Change and customize what information is displayed in the information bar and panel.

View and change the measurement tolerances and settings such as the Default point input field to point name or point code, measurement offsets, and tolerance above/below for setting in-tolerance values.

View and change the stakeout tolerances and settings such as horizontal tolerance, stake marking method, working stake length, cut/fill interval, and default station mode of fixed/random.

View and change the settings when in a project using corridor stakeout such as the station interval, auto advance settings, tangent point preferences, subgrade offset, view settings, and guideline offsets. This option is only available if the Roading module is installed.

View and change the settings for a surface, including the surface offset, the offset type of vertical or perpendicular, and the offset direction of above/below.

View and change the settings when a second surface is being used.

Select and set the settings for a reference line.

Set the tolerances for the avoidance zones loaded into the project.

View and change the settings to be used when staking a catch point.

Enter the total station settings to change the scale factor, atmospheric corrections, enable raw data outputs, and change radio settings. This option is available only when connected to a total station.

Enter the total station compensator and collimation calibration routine. See Adjusting the total station.

Change the displayed units between Decimal feet, Decimal inches, and Fractional inches on projects that are in US Survey or International Feet. See Display units.

Add a company logo and header information to exported PDF reports.
