Trimble SPS Series Total Station Help

This help describes how to set up and use the Trimble® SPS Series total station.

The SPS Series total station is available in two main variants:

  • SPS620 and SPS720 robotic total stations for simplified accuracy on the construction site for site positioning, stakeout and measurement.

  • SPS730 and SPS930 universal total stations for machine positioning on excavation, grading, compaction, milling, and paving projects.

Throughout this help the Trimble SPS Series total station will be referred to as the instrument. If a feature unique for a specific model is described, it will be referred to by its model name.
