Adjusting the backlight
The T100 tablet computer is equipped with a high brightness outdoor readable display. You can easily increase the brightness of the display to increase the readability of the device in bright sunlight conditions, or turn down the brightness to help conserve battery power when working indoors or in dull conditions. You can also have the device automatically adjust the backlight power depending on the ambient light conditions.
To quickly adjust the display brightness setting:

Swipe in from the right edge of the screen or tap Action Center
on the taskbar to open the Action Center.

Tap the brightness icon
to adjust the display brightness setting. The backlight cycles between 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% power. Tap until you reach the backlight level that best suits your conditions.
You can also manually adjust the backlight setting from the Display dialog:

Tap
/ Settings / System/ Display.

Use the brightness level slider to fine tune the display brightness level.
Rotation lock
The T100 tablet computer is equipped with orientation sensors that can detect if your device is in portrait or landscape orientation. The operating system can automatically adjust the display to match your device orientation, or you can lock the orientation.
To adjust the automatic display orientation feature, swipe in from the right edge of the screen or tap Action center on the taskbar to open the Action center, then select rotation lock
to turn rotation lock on or off.
