Import Ashtech Files
Import legacy files from Ashtech ProMark and ProFlex receivers. During the import process, the Ashtech files are converted into RINEX files, which are then imported into your project. The newly created RINEX files are copied into the project folder to facilitate baseline processing. There are three kinds of Ashtech files, all of which contain GNSS data:
- Ashtech Raw Data Files (aka B-Files) - B-Files are obsolete as they are from old GNSS receivers. Therefore, TBC converts B-Files into Q-Files.
- ATOM Raw Data Files (aka G-Files) - G-Files are still used, even if most related GNSS receivers are discontinued. TBC can still import and process G-Files directly without conversion into Q-Files.
- QUARK Post-Processing Data (aka Q-Files) - Q-Files are uncompressed files that are used for baseline processing. TBC can still import and process Q-Files for backward compatibility.
