Workflow: Import GNSS Data
Import into your project GNSS receiver data, along with any required control and reference data. This topic provides "fast-track" instructions for this workflow. For more detailed instructions, see Import GNSS Data. |
Steps: |
Commands: |
1. |
Before importing GNSS data, ensure your project is configured correctly in the Default Standard Errors > GNSS section of the Project Settings dialog. For example, you can specify the default standard horizontal and vertical errors to use in the project. You can also specify the default setup errors for antenna height and centering. |
2. |
Use the Import pane to select and import the GNSS receiver data files into your project. Review the properties displayed in the Settings section at the bottom of the pane and make any necessary changes prior to clicking the Import button. If necessary, edit the import data in the Receiver Raw Data Check In dialog. |
3. |
If necessary, use the Import pane to import GNSS control data (for example, a National Geodetic Service Data Sheet file) into your project. |
4. |
If necessary, use the Import pane to import georeference images captured in the field into your project. After import, you can view the images in the Plan View. |
5. |
If necessary, use the Internet Download pane to download reference station data (for example, data from a local CORS site) into your project. If necessary, select a new reference station by clicking the Internet Download Configuration button located at the top of the pane. |
6. |
If necessary, use the Internet Download pane to download precise orbit data into your project for the appropriate timeframe. |
7. |
After import is complete, view project data in the Project Explorer and the various graphic and spreadsheet views available from the View menu. Double-click any object to view its properties in the Properties pane. |
8. |
Process the GNSS baselines in your project as described in Workflow: Process GNSS baselines. |
