RTX Post-Processing Settings

Use RTX Post-Processing settings to specify how to use the Trimble RTX Post-Processing (RTX-PP) Web service directly from Trimble Business Center to compute the absolute position of points (with centimeter accuracy) contained in static data files. For more information, see Compute Positions Using RTX Post-Processing.

To specify RTX post-processing settings:

  1. Select Project Settings in the Quick Access Toolbar.
  2. Select RTX Post-Processingin the left pane of the Project Settings dialog.
  3. Specify options as shown in the following table. When you are done, click OK.

Options

Send eligible static occupation files to RTX Post-Processing by default on import

Select this check box to ensure the Send to RTX-PP check box is selected in the Receiver Raw Data Check-In dialog when you import long static data files (1+ hours with an update rate not faster than 0.5 seconds) in T01, T02, or DAT format that were recorded with supported receivers and antennas after 14 May 2011.

If necessary, you can de-select the check box for any qualifying import file in the Receiver Raw Data Check-In dialog at the time of import.

Coordinate system

RTX-PP can express resulting coordinates in various time-dependent coordinate systems at the reference epoch for that system.

Select Automatic Selection to specify that the software determine the most appropriate coordinate system to use. Otherwise, select an appropriate coordinate system.

Tectonic plate

RTX-PP can express resulting coordinates based on the selected tectonic plate, which is used to estimate point motion from where it is at the current epoch to where it was at the reference epoch of the selected coordinate system.

Select Automatic Selection to specify that the software determine the most appropriate tectonic plate to use. Otherwise, select an appropriate tectonic plate.
