Symptom

When using the Explore Object command in multi-byte languages (such as Chinese or Japanese), the labels for geometric values displayed at the cursor in graphic views appear as rectangles instead of text. These include the "Distance along" for lines in the plan view, the "Station" for a HAL or VAL in the plan or profile view, and the "Offset" for a stored cross-section in the plan or cross-section view.

The cause is unknown.

Solution 1

There is no solution to this known issue. The first value listed at the cursor is always the value shown in the command pane's Explore group.

The second value listed is always the Elevation at the specified distance along a line, station along an alignment, or offset.
