Internet Download Options

Use these options to select the type of data you want to download from the Internet. They are available on the Start tab of the Internet Download command pane.

Reference Stations (and Virtual Reference Station)	Base station (Manual only)	Download base station or virtual RTK data from a local base station (or a virtual base station) using a manual search. For example, NGS CORS reference stations permit you to download RINEX data, and almanac information.
Precise Orbits	File	Download orbit data from the NGS or IGS. For example, NGS CORS stations permit you to download precise ephemeris data in two formats: SP3 and EF18. It is recommended that you download precise orbit data when processing baselines exceeding 50 km. IGS login note... As of fall 2020, the IGS Internet download service requires a NASA Earthdata login to download precise orbit data and earth orientation parameters to be used for GNSS processing in TBC. A default Trimble public IGS login will be automatically applied when you select to use an IGS service. This ensures that you will have uninterrupted access to this service, and no changes are required on your part. However, if you have your own personal login you want to use, right-click any IGS service in the Internet Download pane, select Properties > Security, and enter your login credentials. Your single login will override the default Trimble public IGS login and apply to all IGS download services.To return to using the Trimble public IGS login, clear your login credentials in Properties > Security and click OK. Earth Orientation Parameters (EOP)	File	Download International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service (IERS) parameters that describe the irregularities of the earth's rotation. Technically, they are the parameters that provide the rotation of the International Terrestrial Reference System (ITRS) to the International Celestial Reference System (ICRS) as a function of time. IGS login note... Differential Code Biases (DCB)	File	Download biases between two code observations at the same/different frequencies. They are used for code-based positioning, ionospheric Total Electron Content (TEC) extraction, and so on.
GNSS Correction Services	File	Download GNSS Correction Services message files containing RTX corrections from the Trimble RTX-PP server. The use of GNSS Correction Services files, which contain ionospheric/tropospheric atmospheric models, enables the baseline processor, operating in "RTX mode", to compute more fixed solutions from shorter occupation durations. Note: The RTX-PP server does not support requests for more than 24 hours of GNSS Correction Services corrections. For a longer project time span, TBC must send several requests.
Control Coordinates	File	Download data sheets from the National Geodetic Survey. For example, NGS CORS reference stations permit you to download control coordinates.
GNSS almanac files	File	Download GNSS planning data. For example, NGS CORS reference stations let you download almanac information.
