Show and Hide Labels for Selected Points

You can use the View Filter Manager to show and hide the point ID, feature code, and elevation labels (as applicable) for all points in your project when they are displayed in a graphic view.

As an alternative, you can use the point Properties pane to show and hide these point labels for one or more selected points.

To show and hide point labels for selected points:

1. Use the Project Explorer or a graphic view to select one or more points whose labels you want to show or hide.
2. Right-click and select Properties.
3. In the Properties pane, select one of the following Label Visibility options for each of the label types (Show label, Show feature codes, and Show elevation).
   • By view filter - The label is displayed or not displayed based solely on the selection in the View Filter Manager.
   • On - The label is displayed, regardless of the selection in the View Filter Manager.
   • Off - The label is not displayed, regardless of the selection in the View Filter Manager.
