compaction control system (CCS)

A satellite-based positioning solution that gives contractors the ability to compact surface material to a target density and check finished grade accuracy in the same process. CCS uses positioning sensors and the on-machine Trimble GCS900 software to manage soil and sub-surface material compaction for tandem rollers and single smooth drum and padfoot rollers.
