Export Mobile Mapping Cubical Images and Trajectory Files (.csv)

Export mobile mapping cubical images and trajectory files to Trimble MX Software, a Trimble solution which provides tools to organize, view and navigate in the Trimble MX7 image data, as well as for feature extraction and web publishing of the extracted information. The format that is applied to the exported files is a text format with the CSV (.csv) extension.

To export mobile mapping cubical images and trajectory files (.csv):

1. Select Export in Home > Data Exchange to display the Export command pane.
2. Click the Mobile Mapping tab.

   A list of available exporters displays.

3. Select MX7 Export to Cubical in the list.
4. Click in the Data field and then select in the Project Explorer the Mapping Run whose panorama and trajectory data you want to export.

   Note: The panorama and trajectory data will be exported from only one run at a time. If you select multiple runs, only the first valid run will be included in the export.

   By default, the name in the File Name field is the name of the VCE project. The default location is in the project folder.

5. Optionally, in the File Name field, enter a different file name and/or file path.
6. Click Export to export the data.

   Two CSV (.csv) files are created in the folder you selected: one for the cubical image data and the other for the trajectory data.

   Note: You must wait until the import of the Trident project file (.tridb) and the generation of cubical images are finished to be able to export. Otherwise, an error message displays.
