FastStatic

A static GNSS data collection technique that results in multiple occupations being stored in a single file. Typically the occupation times vary based on the number of satellites (SVs) in view.

For FastStatic sessions, the receiver is assumed to:

• Move to several points and remain stationary while collecting data at each point, and
• Not collect data while the receiver is moving from point to point, and
• Collect data for a shorter period of time than for a static session.
