Import TDX (.tdx/.tzf) Files from Trimble Perspective

TBC provides support for the following features included in Trimble Perspective field software used with the Trimble X7 laser scanner.

• HDR images - Import HDR (high dynamic range) images captured with the Trimble X7 laser scanner and imported with a TDX file from Trimble Perspective. HDR images reproduce a greater dynamic range of luminosity than what is possible with standard images, resulting in more image detail in variable lighting situations.
• DR laser pointer - Import points created with the DR laser pointer feature included in a TDX file from Trimble Perspective. A laser pointer can be used, for example, to measure a regular TBC point to serve as a backsight point. For more information, see Georeference Point Cloud Scans.
• Georeferenced point clouds - Import georeferenced and registered scans (without a coordinate system) captured with the Trimble X7 laser scanner and imported with a TDX file from Trimble Perspective while keeping the georeferencing and registration results in TBC.
