To create tunnel inspection points:

  1. Select Create Tunnel Inspection Points in Tunnels > Create to display the Create Tunnel Inspection Points command pane.
  2. Select the Inspection map from which you want to create points.
  3. Enter the Starting point ID you want to use to name the new points.
  4. Select the Layer on which to display the points, or select to create a new layer.
  5. Enter the Grid interval distance you want to use to select points.
  6. Optionally, change the displayed Overbreak tolerance value and Underbreak tolerance value that, if exceeded, results in a point being created.

The tolerance values default to the values specified in the Tunnel Inspection Map Properties pane.

  7. Click Apply to create the points and keep the command pane open, or click OK to create the points and close the command pane.

When the process is complete, the new points are displayed in the Project Explorer and the graphic views.
