Change the Real-time or Post-processed Trajectory Color Settings

POSPac processing produces a file that describes the accuracy of the post-processed solution and contains the position, orientation and velocity RMS after smoothing. The name of the file is smrmsg_xxx.out (where xxx is the processing Kernel) and it is used to colorize segments of a mission according to the values of the RMS. The Trajectory Renderings feature lets you change the color settings of the real-time or post-processed trajectory (according to the values of the RMS source) and to switch between the RMS colorization and the original colorization (Red for the real-time trajectory, and Green for the processed trajectory).

To change the real-time or post-processed trajectory color settings:

  1. In the Project Explorer, right-click the Mobile Mapping node and select Trajectory Settings in the context menu.
  2. In the Trajectory Settings dialog, from the Rendering Settings field, select:

    - Default to change the default color of the real-time or post-processed trajectory. The mission trajectory will be displayed in thick with the defined color.

    - RMS values to define the RMS ranges and colors. The mission trajectory will be displayed in bold with the defined colors.

    Notes:
    - Color and range settings are persistent.
    - If the mission contains some registrations then the modified segments will be colorized with the "Undefined RMS" color.

  3. Optionally, click Restore Defaults to revert the real-time and processed trajectories and all the RMS color ranges to the default values.
  4. Click OK to apply the settings.

Note: If the project contains missions with registration and no RMS file set - this is typically a project saved in TBC prior to version 5.80 - the Select RMS File dialog opens and prompts you to select the RMS file for each involved mission. You can set a RMS file only for a mission whose registration has been processed and for which no RMS file was found.
