Export Mobile Mapping Data According Autobahn GmbH

You can export processed mobile mapping data (trajectories along with related images and attributes (Euler angles), and time stamps) from your project using a non-proprietary file format

To export mobile mapping according Autobahn GmbH:

  1. Import a mobile mapping database (*.mxdb) into an existing VCE project.
  2. Select Export in Home > Data Exchange to display the Export command pane.
  3. Click the Mobile Mapping tab. A list of available exporters displays.
  4. Select Export According Autobahn GmbH in the list.
  5. Select a run (or a set of runs) from the Project Explorer (or from the Plan View).
  6. By default, the name in the File Name field is the name of the VCE project. The default location is in the project folder.
  7. Optionally, in the File Name field, enter a different file name and/or file path.
  8. Click Export to export the data. The export generates:
    • A mission trajectory (Mission1.nav): A trajectory file in SBET format.
    • Image folders: Each folder beside the trajectory file represents a camera. Panoramic images are in one folder named Panorama and central perspective images are in multiple additional folders (Planar1, Planar 2 and Planar 3). The content of the folders are:
      • JPG images,
      • A Reference file in CSV format which contains the following: Timestamp, Image name, Geographic position (longitude, latitude, height (ITRF00), Alignment (Pan, Tilt, Roll (yaw, pitch, roll)).
      • A Camera file in CSV format which contains the camera intrinsic parameters (focal length, optical center, and distortion coefficients) - only for side and backward cameras.
