Display Mobile Mapping Rectified Camera Views

In TBC, 360° panoramic images of a Trimble MX series mobile mapping system can be unstitched into six separated and rectified images. These images are flat and typically represent different directions of the 360° camera. Users can view these rectified images individually or simultaneously, with each image displayed in its own specific viewer.

To display the rectified camera view:

  1. In the Project Explorer, select a Run.
  2. Select Rectified Camera Views in Mobile Mapping > Views.
  3. Or select Rectified Camera Views in the context menu. The Rectified Camera Views panel opens.
  4. Select a camera view (Camera 0, Camera 1, etc.) or all camera views (All) and click OK. Camera 0 to camera 4 are the five side-looking cameras. The Rectified View(s) display(s) and show(s):
    • The rectified image for the first mobile mapping station in the run.
    • All 360° camera positions (called Camera Markers) of the selected run. Camera Markers are colored according to the color of the run they belong to. Note that the Camera Markers are displayed in all opened graphic views.
    • A graphical indicator showing the field-of-view and the direction of view of the camera in the Plan View (or 3D View). The Rectified View tab displays which camera data belongs to which camera and which run.
  5. Navigate along the selected run, by:
    • Clicking on a specific camera position in a Rectified View to move to that specific location in all views.
    • Jumping to the next, previous, first or last camera position by choosing the related command from the pop-up menu.
    • Customizing your keyboard keys to jump to a camera position with an increment (see Mobile Mapping Options).
    • Choosing a specific camera and center it in the Plan View and 3D View.
  6. Click Close Views to close all opened Rectified Views.
