Import Trimble Scanner Files (.tsf)
Import Trimble Scanner files to bring in 3D scan data, specifically point clouds, created by Trimble VX Series or S Series instruments with Trimble VISION technology. These files contain scanned points from a station and are located in the <project>\\<job name> Files folder alongside the .job file. To work with this data, import the .job file and its associated scan files, which then allows you to export the scans to other formats like comma-separated values (CSV), TDX, POD, LAS, or TZF files. The .tsf format is designed to efficiently store and manage large volumes of data captured during scanning operations, allowing for accurate and detailed analysis and modeling of physical spaces.
