General Information Settings

Use general information settings to:

  • Review your project's file properties
  • Add a reference number and description of the project
  • Add company and user contact information so it can be printed on reports
  • Record contact information for field and office staff associated with the project
  • Add or edit a comment about the project

To access the settings:

  1. Select Project Settings in the Quick Access Toolbar.

    The Project Settings dialog displays.

  2. Click General Information in the left pane.

General Information

The first several fields in this section are read-only, while the rest are editable. Information displayed in these fields appears in the header for each report for which Show is selected in Report Options > Settings > Header > Project information.

Note that you can use the Comment fields to enter any type of comments related to the project that you want to include in reports.

If applicable, you can enter or edit a WorksOS project name.

Company Information

Information displayed in these fields appears in the header for each report for which Show is selected in Report Options > Settings > Header > Company information.

User Information

Information displayed in these fields appears in the header for each report for which Show is selected in Report Options > Settings > Header > Userinformation.

Information you enter in the other boxes does not appear in report headers.
