synchronizer root folder

A folder (installed in the root directory of a computer's hard drive) that contains site data, design data, and work orders in a file structure that Trimble site controller software can use. The synchronizer root folder is used by some apps to exchange files between office software and site controller software so they match/are 'synchronized'. In documentation, the synchronizer foot folder's file structure is simply referred to as the 'data synchronization area'.
