Symptom

CAD lines are drawing slowly in graphic views.

Possible Cause

The imported CAD file has a large variety of lines that required additional time to draw accurately.

Solution

To speed up redrawing, you can force CAD lines to draw as solids in graphic views. Select Project Settings in the Quick Access Toolbar. In the left pane of the Project Settings dialog, click View > Plan View. In the Plot scale box, change the value to 100,000.
