corridor template
A template inserted into a corridor that provides instructions used to define the cross-sections required to build the corridor (for example, the various offsets and slopes for a road). Each template is comprised of shapes that are strung together to form continuous material layers within the cross-section. Each cross-section template defines the corridor from the station where it is inserted until the station where the next template is inserted, or the end of the corridor.
For compaction, a corridor template can also contain material layers and their lifts. The shapes that comprise the Finished Design surface define the limits of the corridor's work areas.
Corridor and intersection surfaces can be combined to form a corridor network. Intersections and corridors can effect each other’s shape; if one changes, the other automatically reflects the change.
