Find an Object's Insertion Point

An insertion point is the position on an object, such as CAD text and a CAD block, that defines its singular location (coordinate) in 3D space. To determine the location of an insertion point, use the Insertion Point Snap from any coordinate box. For example, select Measure. Right-click in the From box, and select Insertion Point Snap from the context menu. Pick a CAD text object in the Plan View and move the cursor to see a 'rubber-band line' from the insertion point.
