Merge option

Typically, this calibration file is the same as a .dc file, but contains only coordinate system information, so this setting is unneeded. If the .cal file contains data (such as points) that are in a previously imported .cd file, however, you may want to use this setting to avoid overwriting the data in your project.

Disable merge - Select this to retain data both the current project data and the imported data, some of which may be redundant.

Overwrite office edits - Select this to use the data in the imported file rather than the data in your project wherever they are coincide.

Preserve office edits - Select this to retain the data in your project rather than the data in the imported file wherever they are coincide.

Ask me on import - Select this to always prompt you for this setting when importing .cal files.
