Use a Custom Antenna.ini File

GNSS antenna configuration information is stored in the Antenna.ini file and is accessed by the software as necessary when working with GNSS data.

In addition to the standard Antenna.ini file, you can use your own customized Antenna.ini file. This might be useful if, for example, you need to support local, user-defined antenna phase center models for a specific antenna, or support separate phase center models for individual antennas of the same type.

Note: If you select to use a customized Antenna.ini file, it is recommended that you use an antenna ID of 10000 to 11000 so it is not misread as a char code when .t0x files are imported into the software.

When the same antenna is listed in both the standard Antenna.ini file and the custom Antenna.ini file, the configuration data contained in the custom Antenna.ini file is used by the software.

Note: To ensure you have the latest GNSS antenna configuration information, select Check for Updates in Support > Licenseto see if there is a newer Trimble GPS Configuration Files Utility available for download.
