Worldsensing measurement frequency
T4D retrieves data from Worldsensing devices (including laser tilt sensors, tilt sensors, and loggers) by polling the Gateway approximately once per minute. This retrieval method fetches only the most recent value available from the Gateway.
Recommended Measurement Intervals
Due to the polling frequency and potential delays from server processing and network latency, the following measurement intervals are recommended:

Minimum supported interval: 2 minutes

Recommended interval: 5 minutes
To change this, visit the CMT Edge of your Gateway, select the sensor nodes and then Change reporting period to adapt the measurement interval.
Reporting periods

2-minute interval: This is the lowest reliable measurement frequency. At this interval, most readings will be captured and stored in T4D.

1-minute interval: While technically possible to configure, this interval will result in missed readings because the polling cycle (approximately 1 minute) may not align consistently with the measurement timestamps.

30-second interval: Readings at intervals shorter than 2 minutes will experience significant data gaps, as T4D retrieves only the latest value during each call cycle.
Technical Background
T4D's data retrieval method is optimized for system performance while ensuring up-to-date values. Since it retrieves only the most recent gateway value, measurements occurring between polling cycles are not captured. Server processing delays and Worldsensing network latency can further affect the timing of data retrieval, making intervals shorter than 2 minutes unreliable for complete data capture.
For projects requiring complete data retention, configure Worldsensing devices with a measurement frequency of 2 minutes or longer.
