Version 2026.11 of the Trimble® Access™ software is available from August 2026.
These Release Notes describe the changes available in this release of the Trimble Access software.
Enhancements
Coordinate System Database updates
The
-
Added support for modernized NSRS beta 2.
-
Added support for Israel ILUM 2.0 geoid model.
-
Updated the displacement model for Japanese datum JGD2011 to the 2026 version (to ensure optimum accuracy with RTX in Japan in 2026).
-
Updated OSTN15.sgf to use bi-linear interpolation for millimeter accuracy in the UK.
-
Renamed the DHDN datum grid file to reduce confusion.
Resolved issues
-
Stakeout: We have fixed the following issues:
-
Issues with the stakeout list ordering and path display when additional points are added to an existing stakeout list.
-
The point highlighted in the stakeout list was not highlighted on the map.
-
When staking out lines from 12da files containing arcs, the arcs were not displayed correctly, and could not be staked.
-
When staking lines from 12da files, you could not change the staking direction by re-selecting the other end of the line in the map.
-
During conventional stakeout with horizontal offsets, changing the target (rod) height incorrectly reset the in/out and left/right stake deltas to zero.
-
The cut/fill value displayed in the map was jumping between the correct value and 0.000 during DTM stakeout.
-
-
DXF display: We have fixed an issue where erroneous circles were drawn across the screen when displaying polylines from DXF files in ground coordinates.
-
Feature library symbols: We have fixed the following issues when using symbols from a feature library, where:
-
point symbols were disappearing from the map.
-
linework shifted in the map following a station setup, or after adding or removing map layers.
-
-
WMS SSL error: We have fixed an issue that caused an SSL connect error when connecting to some WMS map services on Android controllers.
-
WMS map layers: We have fixed an issue where Trimble Access did not send uppercase parameter names (WIDTH and HEIGHT) in WMS tile requests, improving compatibility with WMS servers that require them.
-
Measure to surface: We have fixed an issue where the Measure to surface distance sign was slow to update when the position changed from one side of the surface to the other.
-
GNSS antenna height: We have fixed an issue when starting a VRS survey using an RTCM correction stream where the antenna height defined in the survey style was reset to "?" if the GNSS receiver was not connected via Bluetooth before starting the survey.
-
Failed to set message routing: We have fixed an issue that displayed a "Failed to set message routing" error when connecting to the internal radio of R-series receivers (including the R10, R10-2, R12i, SPS985, and SPS986) running older firmware. Trimble recommends updating receiver firmware where possible.
-
Cloud projects and jobs: We have fixed an issue where local project files were incorrectly added to the linked files field when uploading cloud jobs, which caused issues with job upload, sync, and file display in connected workflows.
-
Android display: We have fixed an issue on some Android controllers where softkeys and on-screen controls were hidden below the Android navigation bar.
-
Staking station on string: We have fixed an alignment/road staking issue when staking a Station on string where cut/fill values were not calculated correctly.
-
Upgrading from previous version: We have fixed an issue when upgrading a project created in an earlier version of Trimble Access, where an application error could occur following the message "The project coordinate system has been updated to match Trimble Connect".
