2025.23
Version 2025.23 of the Trimble® Access™ software is available from February 2026.
These Release Notes describe the new features and changes available in this release of the Trimble Access software.
Resolved issues
-
Adding project data in subfolders: From the Add project data screen, you can now tap a folder to add the folder and all of its contents, including any subfolders, to the project. Double-tap a folder to open it for individual file selection. When adding data from a USB drive, Trimble Access now copies the files and the folder hierarchy, making it easier to maintain the folder structure between devices.
-
Layer manager: Files stored in the same folder as the current job are now shown in bold and sorted to the top of the list for easier identification.
-
Coordinate systems: Trimble Access currently only supports the download of published coordinate systems for cloud projects:
-
Custom project coordinate systems: We now display a warning for cloud projects when the project coordinate system is defined as a custom or site calibration. To use a custom coordinate system, we currently recommend creating and using a local job template instead.
-
Changes to the project coordinate system in the cloud: If the project coordinate system is assigned or updated in Trimble Connect Web after the project has been created, then the changes are now reflected in the project when you open it in Trimble Access or tap Refresh in the Projects screen or Jobs page. This ensures that any new jobs created in the project immediately use the updated coordinate system definition. The coordinate system settings for existing jobs are unchanged.
TIP –Trimble Connect projects can now include settings for the Coordinate system and a Feature Code library and you can default to these when creating a new job in Trimble Access. The other default settings for a new job are defined by one of the three Scale only templates; the Scale only template the software uses is based on the unit settings set in the coordinate system.
To configure the other default settings, modify the Scale only template that matches the units of your coordinate system. For example, if your coordinate system is Metric, such as NZGD2000, you should modify the Metric Scale Only template. If you are using US Survey Feet, such as Kentucky North (usft), edit the US Survey Feet Scale Only template.

Map interactions with Measure forms: We have fixed an issue in the Measure topo or Measure points forms where you couldn't select points in the map and then use them for tap-and-hold functions, such as computing an inverse between two points.
-
Trimble Connect Organizer groups: We have fixed an error where Trimble Connect Organizer subgroups were not always displayed in the Trimble Access organizer.
