To select a third-party total station

In addition to supported Trimble instruments, you can carry out a conventional survey when connected to a total station made by one of the following manufacturers:

• Leica
• Nikon
• Pentax
• Sokkia
• Spectra Geospatial
• Topcon
• Zeiss

When using third-party instruments, you must disable auto‑connect. Some commands used by auto‑connect can interfere with the communication of third-party instruments. See Auto‑connect settings.

To key in measurements, select Manual in the Manufacturer field of the survey style.
