Vertical alignment

To key in the vertical alignment:

1. Tap Vertical alignment.

2. Tap Add.

   The Element field is set to Start point.

3. To define the start point:
   1. Enter the Station (VPI) and the Elevation (VPI).
   2. To change the way a slope value is expressed, tap Options and change the Grade field as required.
   3. Tap Store.
4. To add elements to the alignment:

   1. Select the Element type and fill out the remaining fields.

      For more information, refer to the topic for the selected entry method.

   2. Tap Store.

   3. Continue adding elements as required.

      Each element is added after the previous element.

   4. When you are done, tap Close.

   To edit an element or to insert an element further up the list, you must first tap Close to close the Add element screen. You can then select the element to edit in the list and then tap Edit. To insert an element, tap the element that will come after the new element and then tap Insert.

5. Tap Accept.
6. Tap Store to store the RXL definition.
