To create a Seven parameter transformation

1. Tap and select Cogo / Adjust / Transformations.
1. Select Manage local transformations. Tap Next.
2. Select Create new transformation. Tap Next.
3. Set the Transformation type to Seven parameter and then enter the Transformation name.
4. Tap Next.
5. Tap Add to select the Grid point name and Local grid point name pairs of points and then set the Use field to one of the following:
• Off – Do not use this point pair in the computation of the transformation parameters.
• Horizontal & vertical – Use this point pair in the computation of both the horizontal and the vertical adjustment parameters.

6. Tap Accept to add the pair to the list and then tap Add again to add more pairs of points.

   Residuals will only start to be displayed once 3 point pairs have been defined.

   The Seven parameter transformation is a three‑dimensional transformation only. You cannot use 1D or 2D points in the point pairs used to compute the transformation parameters. If a Seven parameter transformation is applied to 1D or 2D Grid, or Grid (local) point, the transformed position will have null coordinates.

7. To view the result of the transformation, tap Results.
8. Tap Store.
