Coordinate system

For projects downloaded from Trimble Connect, coordinate system settings are downloaded with the project.

For local projects on the controller, you can set up the coordinate system when you create the project.

When the coordinate system is set for the project, by default all new jobs created from Project settings will use the specified coordinate system. If needed, you can change the coordinate system settings for a job, although this is rare.

To review the coordinate system settings for a project:

1. Tap and select Project. The Projects screen is shown.
2. Select a project, then tap and select Settings.
3. Tap the button next to Coord sys. The Select coordinate system screen appears.

To review the coordinate system settings for a job:

1. Tap and select Job.The current job is already selected.
2. Tap Properties.
3. Tap the button next to Coord sys. The Select coordinate system screen appears.

Select the coordinate system selection method you want to use and then tap Next. See To set the coordinate system.
