Managing linked jobs
The Jobs tab in the Layer manager screen lists the job files linked to the current job.
All job files in the current project folder on the controller are listed. You can also link to jobs in other projects if needed.
Linking to other job files enables you to view and use data in those jobs without importing the data into the current job. This can be useful to:
- Access and use control points from a previous job.
- View and use survey data from the previous day.
- View the progress and extent of work completed by another surveyor.
NOTE –
-
You can use points in a linked job but you cannot use lines, arcs or polylines in a linked job.
-
When linking job files, make sure that all jobs use the same coordinate system settings.
