Reference alignments

For any stakeout method, you can select a reference alignment so that the software shows the station and offset values of your current position relative to the reference alignment. This information is also saved in the job.

1. In the map or cross section view, tap and hold in the screen and tap Select reference alignment.
2. Select the road format.
3. Select the file. The Road name field shows the selected road name.

4. Tap Accept.

   During stakeout, a dashed line is drawn from your current position to the horizontal alignment of the reference alignment.

5. To stop using a reference alignment, tap and hold in the map or cross section view and tap Select reference alignment. In the list of road formats, select <None>.
