GNSS corrections
To achieve position accuracy of 1 meter or better, GNSS receivers require access to a suitable GNSS correction service.
The Trimble Catalyst service works with Trimble‑provided correction services using the Trimble Corrections Hub. The Trimble Corrections Hub bundles access to Trimble VRS Now™ and Trimble RTX correction services. Trimble Corrections Hub dynamically selects the appropriate correction service based on the environment, availability, and your subscription level.
The table below shows the horizontal root mean square (RMS) accuracy performance for each subscription type:

Service availability:
-
NTRIP is available directly via VRS Now inside Trimble Corrections Hub for all Catalyst subscribers in parts of the US, Most of Western Europe, Australia, and NZ.
-
RTX Fast is available in most of USA and Western Europe, on land.
-
RTX Global is available basically everywhere on land.
RTX is available on dry land only, and in some cases, availability in coastal areas, especially on small islands atolls and similar areas may be restricted. Users should check with their local Trimble distribution partner for any regional limitations.
Corrections are supported in real time using internet or satellite correction sources. Users who need to work in offline conditions or where real-time services are unavailable or unreliable, or if you prefer to use a post-processing workflow, post-processing is available via some applications. For example for form-based feature and asset data capture workflows, the Trimble TerraFlex application supports offline GNSS corrections when using the Trimble Catalyst service for the DA2.
If you are working outside the corrections area zone supported by Trimble VRS Now and Trimble RTX-Fast, you may need to configure your own custom local correction source to achieve the required accuracy. You can configure a custom location correction source :
