Catalyst service app

To use the DA1 antenna, you must install the Catalyst Service to your Android device.

The Catalyst Service is available as a free download on Google Play.

  1. Open the Play Store app on your Android phone or tablet.

  2. Use the search feature to search for Catalyst Service. If the Android device you are using is compatible with the Catalyst receiver service, the Catalyst Service app will appear in the search results.

  3. Tap INSTALL to download and install the app on your device.

    The Catalyst Service is a background service that is only accessible programmatically by other apps that use the Catalyst Service, so it does not have or need a shortcut icon on your Android device's home screen.

  1. In Trimble Mobile Manager, tapand select Position Source.
  2. Make sure DA1 is selected in the GNSS receiver type field.
  3. Make sure the Software field shows Up to date.
  4. If the Software field shows an UPDATE button, the Catalyst service is not installed or a later version is available. Tap UPDATE to go to the Google Play Store and update the service.
