Get set up

For each project you want to use with the Trimble Reality Capture Service, you will need to:

  • Select the project license (that is, the Trimble Reality Capture license to use with the project)

  • Enable the Reality Capture extension for the project

If the account you or your organization is using has only one Trimble Connect license and one Trimble Reality Capture Service license then these are automatically selected when you create a Trimble Connect project. If the account more than one Trimble Connect license or Trimble Reality Capture Service license available then you must select the correct Project ownership and Project license each time you create a project in Trimble Connect.

Configuring project settings

To check the Project ownership and Project license details for a project:

  1. In Trimble Connect for Browser, select the Trimble Connect project.

  2. In the left menu, select Settings.

  3. Select the Project Details section.

  4. Scroll to the Project Ownership tile and review the information.

If the account you are using has more than one Trimble Connect license or Trimble Reality Capture Service license available then you can edit the Project ownership and Project license fields as needed.

Different licenses may have different data plans available. To check how much Trimble Reality Capture Service data each project has used, view the Cloud Storage tab in the Reality Capture extension Settings screen. See Reality capture settings.
