First time use
In the Apps screen on your device, tap the Trimble Mobile Manager app icon to run the app.
Permissions
The first time you run Trimble Mobile Manager, you will need to grant permissions to run and access the different services that the app needs to run on your device.
On an Android device, tap Allow to grant permissions to Trimble Mobile Manager for each of the following:
- Access to photos, media, and files on the device.
- Access to the device's location.
- Allow Trimble Mobile Manager to manage phone calls.
On an iOS device, tap Allow to grant permissions to Trimble Mobile Manager to allow notifications.
EULA
After you have granted permissions, you will be presented with the app End User License Agreement (EULA).
Read the EULA, and tap Accept to begin using the app.
To view the EULA at any time, tap and select Legal, then tap License agreement.
Disable the Android battery optimization feature
A banner displays at the top of the screen to notify you that the Android battery optimization feature is enabled.
If you do not disable battery optimization, the Android operating system may put Trimble Mobile Manager to sleep, which will prevent you receiving high-accuracy positions from the connected GNSS receiver.
To disable battery optimization and enable Trimble Mobile Manager to run in the background:
-
Tap Fix now on the banner.
-
Tap Disable TMM battery optimization.
-
You are prompted to Stop optimizing battery usage. Tap Allow.
