Install hardware licenses

Hardware licenses apply to receivers that support options, including:

  • Trimble R Series receivers

  • Spectra Geospatial SPS receivers

  • Trimble TDC650 GNSS handheld

  • Spectra Geospatial SP30 GNSS handheld

When Trimble Mobile Manager is connected to a receiver that supports options, the Hardware Licenses screen shows the licenses and options for the connected receiver and enables you to key in option codes for the receiver.

To install a hardware license (for example, Trimble RTX) onto the receiver:

  1. Connect to the GNSS receiver.
  2. Tap and select Licenses.
  3. In the Install option field, enter the license key for the option to install.
  4. Tap Apply.
