You can select whether to Leave the project, which removes you from the list of team members for the project and removes the project from your list, or to Delete the project, which deletes the project from the server and removes it from everyone's project list. To copy all the configured job properties excluding attached files, in the Project overview screen click for the job and select Save as template.
Trimble Sync Manager warns the project was not uploaded correctly. What should I do?
If the message "There was an unexpected problem uploading your Project to Connect. Please consult Sync Manager FAQs to address this issue" appears when you are creating a project, it can indicate there was a network issue during upload of the project to the cloud that has resulted in duplicate projects, where one project is in the cloud and a different version of the project is stored locally.
To resolve the issue, close Trimble Sync Manager and in Windows Explorer delete the following folder from your computer: C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Trimble\Trimble Sync Manager\. Then restart Trimble Sync Manager and download the project from the cloud.

How do I send RXL road files with a job?
You can export RXL files from Trimble Business Center in the usual way and then attach them to the job in Trimble Sync Manager.
Can I link a .job file to a job in Trimble Sync Manager?
You can attach a .job file from any version of the Trimble Access software to a job. If required, the file is automatically converted to the latest file format supported in Trimble Access.
Why is Trimble Sync Manager reporting it cannot find a linked file?
When you are creating a job, a red link icon indicates if a referenced file cannot be located on the PC or in the cloud. If you attempt to create the job the software warns that it cannot create the job because the file is missing. This may occur when, for example, a file referenced in a template has been moved from its original location. In the job screen, click on the file name to search for the file, or click the link to unlink the file so that you can create the job without it. If the link is in a job template, remember to update the job template with the new location of the file or with an updated file.
Why don't my project reference geoid files appear in the list of project files for the job?
Geoid files you have added to the Reference files tab of the project appear in the project files list of the job only if they are relevant for the coordinate system definition for the job.
Why do my points appear different when viewing a CSV file exported from Trimble Business Center and a CSV file sent using Send to Sync?
When you click Send to Sync in Trimble Business Center, the software uses the coordinate display order configured in the Trimble Business Center project properties, whereas when you export the CSV file from Trimble Business Center using the Export Format Editor, you can select the order of the coordinates. This information is carried through to the Trimble Access job to ensure that the order remains correct.
Send to Sync also outputs a greater number of decimal places than the Export Format Editor.

Why am I unable to synchronize data in Trimble Access?
A Trimble Access software user who is signed in to Trimble Connect on the controller may not be able to sync data with the cloud for the following reasons:
-
The user is not assigned to the job or project
A team member must be assigned to the job to be able to work on it.
To hide jobs which the signed in user is not assigned to, select the Restricted Job visibility check box. See Managing team members.
If the same device is shared between different users occasionally it may be possible to see a project that is assigned to the person who was previously signed in, but it is not assigned to the currently signed in person. We hope to improve this behavior in the future.
-
The user does not have a Connect Business subscription
Field users who are using a controller that has a Trimble Access perpetual license must be assigned a Connect Business subscription. To do this, sign in to the Trimble License Manager web app as your organization's License Administrator and assign the appropriate users. For more information, see Upgrading to a Trimble Connect Business subscription license.
-
Unable to use project due to folder or file permissions
It is not possible to set folder and file permissions in Trimble Sync Manager.
However, permissions can be set for folders and files in Trimble Connect Web. The three permission states are Full Access, No Access, Read Only Access. To address this issue, you must sign in to Trimble Connect Web.
If the project administrator is not aware of setting permissions then it is unlikely to be the cause.

If you are experiencing connectivity issues, request from your IT team that the following domains are allowed through the company firewall on HTTPS Port 443.
Two lists of domains are provided, allowing companies to choose which level to open their firewall at.
Second level domain identification:

Or Third level domain identification
- app.connect.trimble.com
- connect.trimble.com
- identity.trimble.com
- api.trimble.com
The underlying IP addresses to which these DNS names resolve are subject to change without notice.
