Terra Office add-in for ArcGIS Pro
Delivered as an add-in to Esri ArcGIS Pro, the Trimble Terra Office add-in for ArcGIS Pro provides a simple workflow for setting up data collection projects using either feature services hosted in ArcGIS Online / Enterprise or on-premise ArcGIS geodatabase infrastructure. From within the ArcGIS Pro environment, desktop users can set up, manage, and deploy data collection projects. Collected data is then downloaded directly into the feature service or geodatabase.
For further information on core ArcGIS Pro functionality, refer to the Esri documentation.

Getting started
To get started with the Terra Office add-in for ArcGIS Pro, see Getting started.
Creating and managing projects
In Terra Office, data collection activities are managed as projects. These projects define the schema and rules for data collection (including geodetics and auto‑fields) and link back to the map layers used to create them. In general, all schema constraints and rules defined in the map layers are translated into the data collection project to ensure that collected data meets the required standards.
For more information, see Creating and managing projects.
Taking projects and data to the field
By default, Terra Office projects represent a schema for new data collection. In the TerraFlex workflow, it is also possible to select existing features from your GIS and take them to the field for attribute edits, geometry edits, or both.
To work with existing features in the field, the user must have a TerraFlex Standard or TerraFlex Premium license.
For more information, see Taking projects and data to the field.
Integrating collected data
After data has been collected in the field, it can be brought back into the GIS using the add-in. All data gets stored directly back into the feature service layers or geodatabase feature classes that were selected for data collection (as configured through the map layers) in the project.
For more information, see Integrating collected data.
Managing and understanding settings
Trimble Terra Office maintains a few settings that apply to all projects.
