Reviewing data quality
Terra Office add-in for ArcGIS Pro provides a way to visualize the accuracy of collected forms on the map. This is referred to as the Form QA feature and is available both immediately after Local Project Check-in and from the list of GNSS Data Sessions. In the former, you can visualize the form geometries and accuracies as they were checked-in and in the latter, you can visualize the form geometries and accuracies following processing — which if done prior to Update Features, can be used to visualize pending feature geometries and accuracy before they are propagated to the linked GIS features.
To view form geometries and accuracy:
-
From one of the locations where the link is shown, click Show forms to switch to the Form QA tab based on either a list of checked-in forms or a selected GNSS data session.
-
With the Form QA tab active, note the list of forms in the table (layer, OBJECTID, status, last collection date, estimated horizontal/vertical accuracies, and receiver/antenna if available) and the form geometries and accuracy circles (or buffers for lines/polygons) drawn in the map.
-
Click a row in the table and note that the linked GIS feature is selected, the geometry is drawn as a green graphic, and the accuracy circle is also highlighted in green.
-
Click the column headers as necessary to sort the list of forms.
-
To zoom to the selected form, click Zoom to.
-
To view additional detail about the selected form, click Details. This will be further used in future versions of the add-in.
-
Once you are done reviewing the set of forms, click Done. You will be returned to the tab where you first clicked the Show forms link.
