Using the Android operating system

This section introduces some basic information on using the Android operating system on the TSC5 controller / Ranger 5 data collector. For additional information, go to the Android website.

Press the Power key to turn on the TSC5 controller / Ranger 5 data collector . The Android operating system will guide you through the setup process.

The first time you use the TSC5 controller / Ranger 5 data collector , you’ll be prompted to set up a Wi-Fi network and a Google Account to use with your device.
