Connecting to Bluetooth accessories

The TSC710 controller has embedded Bluetooth wireless technology—a short-range wireless communication technology that allows wireless data transfer and communication between devices over a distance of up to 100 meters (328 feet).

You can use Bluetooth wireless technology to connect the TSC710 controller to a Bluetooth headset.

Turning Bluetooth on or off

  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen.

  2. Tap Bluetooth to switch Bluetooth On or Off.

When Bluetooth is on, the Bluetooth button at the top of the screen is illuminated.

TIP – To save battery, turn off Bluetooth when you are not using it.

Pairing and connecting a Bluetooth device with the TSC710 controller

Before you can transfer data or communicate between your TSC710 controller and another Bluetooth enabled device, you must pair the TSC710 controller and the device.

Step 1: Pair a Bluetooth accessory

  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap-hold Bluetooth, or go to Settings/ Connected devices.

  2. Tap + Pair new device. A list of available Bluetooth devices that are within range is displayed.

  3. Tap the name of the Bluetooth device you want to pair with your device.

  4. Follow any on-screen instructions. If the pairing is successful, the TSC710 controller connects to the device.

TIP – If you are asked to enter a passcode or Bluetooth PIN, try entering 0000 or 1234 (the most common passcodes), or see the documentation that came with your Bluetooth device. Some old Bluetooth devices do not require a PIN.

NOTE – To connect to a Bluetooth-enabled receiver with a PIN, if for any reason you cannot connect via Bluetooth, connect over Wi-Fi to configure the receiver. The IP address is in most cases 192.168.142.1. Refer to the documentation for the receiver for details and receiver specific settings.

Step 2: Connect to a Bluetooth device

After pairing with a Bluetooth device, you can connect to it manually— for example, to switch devices or to reconnect after a device comes back in range.

  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen.

  2. If Bluetooth is turned off, tap Bluetooth to turn it on.

  3. Tap-hold Bluetooth.

  4. In the list of paired devices, tap a paired but unconnected device.

When your phone and the Bluetooth device are connected, the device shows as Connected.

  2. On the TSC710 controller, open the Files app, select the file you want to transfer, and tap , which gives options for sharing. Tap Bluetooth.

  3. Select your PC in the list of Bluetooth devices, and the file will start to transfer.

  4. On the PC, once file transfer has finished, navigate to a location where you want the file saved.
